To keep our clinical and administrative staff at the forefront of comprehensive dental care, we regularly attend continuing education courses. We are proud to offer the following services:

  • Dental Implant Restoration: Replicating the natural function and appearance of your lost teeth can be very difficult to accomplish. Historically, dentures or bridge restorations would be used as replacements, but with limited results. Dental implants, however, are natural-looking replacements for missing teeth that also provide the same function as your natural tooth root. They have also been used to anchor these other types of restorations for greater success and patient satisfaction.

  • Cosmetic Dentistry: is an area of dentistry that helps to create a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Cosmetic dentists can whiten teeth, replace missing teeth, and repair chipped teeth through a variety of cosmetic dentistry options, including tooth bleaching, porcelain veneers, dental implants, bonding, dental crowns, and bridges.

  • Smile Rejuvenation: The confidence of a beautiful, natural looking smile can be yours. Let us work with you using the art & science of smile enhancements. Combining the best of modern dental products, skilled lab technicians, and true artistry, with the advanced training at the world renown, Shoreline Dental we can work magic on your smile.

  • In Office Whitening: we offer one hour in office whitening using sensitive-free whitening with the sapphire whitening system.

  • Veneers: are delicate covers that are placed over the front of the teeth in order to restore their shape and improve their color. They are similar to artificial nails that are placed over natural nails. They may be made of plastic or porcelain. When suitable, veneers provide a conservative way to improve the function and appearance of teeth. Unlike a crown, veneers require that only the front surface of the tooth be reduced in size

  • Breath Disorders: we also deal with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of bad breath (halitosis). Bad breath is a common complaint and is of concern to a great many people. In order to evaluate their complaint or concern, each patient will have a thorough diagnostic assessment of the problem followed by specific recommendations for its treatment. If the treatment includes dental care, patients will be referred to their own dentist for such care. If the bad breath is due to non-oral causes, patients will be referred to their physicians. Follow-up visits to the Shoreline Dental will be scheduled for each patient in order to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and to prevent recurrence of the bad breath.

  • Non-Surgical Gum Therapy (Deep Cleaning) or Scaling & Root Planning: The removal of plaque and tartar that has built up below the gum-line causing an infection. Topical Anesthetics are used for patient comfort. After a through exam of the gums shows bleeding, swelling, and redness this might be what is best for you to return your gums to health. Tartar is plaque that has hardened to the tooth. Once tartar forms gum-line the gum-line it is closer to your bone and you have become at risk for bone loss due to the toxicity of bacteria comprising the tartar. A Non-surgical gum therapy program will be followed through upon diagnosis.

  • Root Canal Therapy: refers to the process by which a dentist treats the inner aspect of a tooth, cleans the infected canals and nerve inside tooth with medication, and permanently seal & filled the canal so that the bacteria will not re-enter the canals.

  • Fillings - Silver, and Composite: is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. If you have a tooth that requires a filling, we will first remove the decayed tooth material, clean the affected area, and then fill the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. A filling also helps prevent further decay by closing off any cracks or spaces where bacteria can enter.

  • Wisdom Teeth Extraction: Normally we recommend patients have their wisdom teeth remove for periodontal health. Especially wisdom teeth that partially erupted which may cause infection of the Jaw and damage to the teeth.
